Huddersfield Web Designer's Bash
After a brief delay and much anticipation (by me, mostly) I'm pleased to anounce a confirmed date and venue for the Huddersfield web designer's bash:
- Wednesday 6th December 2006, 10am
- Cafeollo (Northumberland Street, Huddersfield)
Should be a good little event, and I'm definitely looking forwards to meeting some like minded people with similar interests and careers. The attendance count looks set to reach around 10-15 people with small sole traderships to large limited companies attending.
Hopefully there shouldn't be too much 'competition scowling'. In fact I doubt there will be any at all.
The owners of the cafe-bar where we're all meeting up are looking forwards to the event too - at £1.50 per cup of coffee they're set to make a sizable contribution to their retirement fund. After all, everyone knows that web designers are famed for their unmatchable coffee consumption...
Anyway if you want to come then please don't hesitate to show your face. Entry is £399.99obviously completely free and it's an entirely open-house do, so everyone's welcome.

Good luck with your meet-up. I'm not even a web designer (more of a modifier) so i technically wouldn't be able to go anyway...but if i could, there's still this huge ocean between me and the meet :P
